During Your Stay

Quiet Hours

To maintain a peaceful environment, please avoid making noise between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM.

The “Gîte des Mille Chemins” is located in a small, serene hamlet, ideal for enjoying the quietness of nature.

Smoking

The gîte is non-smoking. However, smoking is permitted in the garden. Please use the provided ashtray and avoid littering cigarette butts.

Shared Spaces

The apartment is your private space. However, the garden outside the gîte and the common room on the ground floor (under renovation until January 2024) are shared spaces available to all guests and the owners.

Activities at the Gîte

In your apartment:

  • A speaker, board games, comic books, and novels are available.

  • If you’d like more games or help with the rules of board games like Frutopia, Sobek, 7 Wonders, and more, we’d be happy to assist.

In the garden:

Things to Do Outside the Gîte

Hikes and Walks

Laurent Frobert is a certified hiking guide (French Federation of Mountain Environment - FFMM) and can recommend or guide you on some of the best trails, from easy walks to more challenging hikes.

Tourist Activities

For more information on local attractions, feel free to ask us or visit the Saint-Laurent-du-Pont tourist office.

Comfort & Environment

No Air Conditioning (Not Needed)

To remain eco-friendly, the apartment does not have air conditioning. The thick stone walls provide excellent insulation (Energy Performance Rating: C, CO2 Emission Rating: A). During heat waves, simply ventilate at night using the mosquito screens installed on all windows.

Heating

The apartment has three new heaters: one in the dining room and one in each bedroom. Please use them during off-peak hours (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) and avoid setting the temperature above 20°C. Remember to turn them off or lower the thermostat if you’ll be out for several hours.

Extra blankets are available if needed.

At Your Departure

  • Clean and store the dishes

  • Empty and clean the fridge if necessary

  • Vacuum the apartment

  • Place used bed linens and towels in the beige laundry bag provided

  • Dispose of trash and recyclables appropriately

If we are unavailable, please return the keys to the key box and reset the code to "0000."
